Kankakee resident and former Central High School teacher Jerry Tibstra will be presenting a portrait he painted to Chicago Blackhawks forward Michal Handzus prior to tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues at the United Center.

Tibstra is well-known for his work and has painted numerous Blackhawks players over the years. It will be Handzus' 1,000th game and a fitting opponent since he was drafted by the Blues in 1995.

The game is at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBCSN.
