...Accumulating Snow on Sunday...
Snow will spread over northern Illinois and northwest Indiana
after 3 a.m. tonight and continue through early to mid afternoon
Sunday. This persistent snow will be light to moderate in
intensity. At least two inches are expected for most areas near
and south of Interstate 80, and localized amounts to around four
inches are possible. While amounts will taper further north,
especially north of I-88 and I-290, accumulating snow and some
minor travel impacts are still likely.
With temperatures forecast to drop to below freezing, the snow
will stick on roadways, especially those untreated. Ensure to
allow extra time if traveling on Sunday.
