Perhaps we’ve come to the point where our local paper needs to list contact information for all people relevant to an article. Of course this is Illinois government we’re talking about and transparency is not their strong suit (understatement of the year).

I would love to email or text the government players involved to encourage them to make this a top priority today. Imagine a great company/employer like CSL, (who you mentioned is not asking for tax incentives or anything like that, and they’ve agreed to pay for the light) getting no action after 16 months.

It’s a shame. This county is desperate for companies like this and this is how they handle it? You could always list a link or something where concerned individuals could get more on the story or contact info on people involved. Good story...thank you for bringing it to the forefront.
