Willis Bramstaedt, 87, of Beecher, passed away Tuesday (June 25, 2019) at his home, surrounded by family.

He was born May 1, 1932, the son of Alfred and Hulda Cohrs Bramstaedt. His parents preceded him in death. On July 23, 1960, he married Vivian Leslie in Emmanuel Evangelical Luther Church in Steger.

Willis was a farmer. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was active in the Will-South Cook Soil and Water Conservation District.

Surviving are his loving wife, Vivian; and a son, Mitchell Bramstaedt, of Burbank.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Hack-Jensen Funeral Home in Beecher. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday June 28, at Zion Lutheran Church in Beecher. Burial will immediately follow the service in St. Paul Cemetery in Beecher.
