David L. Brattin, 65, of Bradley, passed away Friday (June 28, 2019) at Amita Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

He was born Dec. 11, 1953, in Fairfield, Calif., the son of Daryl L. and June (Poole) Brattin.

David enjoyed fishing and shooting guns. He was an avid sports fan and also coached for the Bradley Lions Junior Football League.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Stephanie Brattin, of Donovan; three grandchildren, Dalton Brattin, Timothy Lowe and Lillian Courville; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Judy and Richard Bolt, of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Amy and Jeff Evans, of Enoree, S.C.; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Vernon and Linda Brattin, of Bradley, Royce and Dannette Brattin, of Bourbonnais, and Dan and Karla Brattin, of Cape Coral, Fla.; along with many nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be from 3 p.m. Friday, July 5, until the 6 p.m. memorial service at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate the service.

Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
