Danulis Paul Kupcikevicius, 51, of Bourbonnais, passed away June 22, 2019, at home following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 4, 1968, in Carbondale, the son of Kazys Kupcikevicius and Jeanne Chapman, of Bradley.
Danulis was employed in sales, outdoor power equipment and as an optical technician and also was self-employed.
He graduated from Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, Class of 1988, and attended both Kankakee Community College and John A. Logan College, Carterville.
Dan enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. He found great enjoyment in the outdoors, especially boating, fishing and hunting. He was proud of his Lithuanian and Cherokee Indian ancestry.
Surviving are his parents, of Bradley; a brother, Nick Kupcikevicius, of Bradley; a sister and brother-in-law, Lara and Clint Plecas, and a niece, Olivia, all of Phoenix; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Miranda Kupcikevicius, and grandson, Joshua, all of Brownsville, Texas; son, Nickolas Kupcikevicius and his fiance, Jade Salvayne, of Aurora; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Diane.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, George and Katie Chapman and Antanas and Ona Kupcikevicius; great-grandmother, Jessie Blackwell; several aunts and uncles; stepson, Christopher Coniglio; and two stepgrandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
