Anita Bull-Pippin, 91, of Bradley, passed away Saturday (June 29, 2019) at her home.
She was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Blue Island, the daughter of Paul and Anna Hohn Lagrange.
Anita married Herbert Bull on April 20, 1945. He preceded her in death Dec. 17, 1977. She then married Harry Pippin on Oct. 20, 1979. He also preceded her in death March 30, 1991.
She retired from Pope Brace Company in 1979. She was a lifetime member of Bradley First Church of the Nazarene and the Bourbonnais VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and completing jigsaw puzzles. Anita especially enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida, where she also volunteered at a nearby hospital gift shop.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Lee Gagnon, of Manteno; three grandchildren, Keith (Tina) Jensen, Randy Jensen and Ann (Craig) Blanchette; and great-grandchildren, Blake (Amy) Blanchette, James Jensen, Tyler Blanchette, Brian Fortin, Peyton Blanchette, Hayleigh Fortin, Joshua Fortin and Kimberly Jensen. Anita also is survived by one brother, Bob (Mary) Lagrange, of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and special grand-cat, Two Face.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Jensen; son-in-law, Joseph Gagnon; and special friend, Bob Lindeloff.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday July 2, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. There will also be a visitation from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Bradley First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Desiree Engelkens will officiate. Interment will follow in Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Aroma Township.
