Friends of Bradley Police Officer Tyler Bailey and his family are putting together a fundraising event at Northfield Square mall on Jan. 23 to help the wounded officer and his wife through this difficult time.  Read more

Thursday morning, first responders from various local law enforcement agencies gathered for the First Responder Prayer Service. Bradley Police Chief Donald Barber, Kankakee County Sheriff Mike Downey and State's Attorney Jim Rowe were among the morning's speakers. Read more

 Detainees being held at Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee through an agreement with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will soon be moved to another facility outside of Illinois or released. Read more

Theresa Overmyer, of Wilmington, was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Overmyer is pursuing a degree in biology at University of Illinois at Chicago.
