The third annual Neighborhood Community Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the corner of North Schuyler Avenue and East Willow Street in Kankakee.

The festival will recognize community “trailblazers,” neighborhood business owners and Kankakee High School achievers. Those who will be honored include Duane Tucker, James Odeneal, Jesse Franks, Sr., James “Bubba” Cox, Jimmy Johnson, Billie Burrell and Sylvia Rockett.

Food and games will be available on site as well as entertainment by Master James and the Show Stoppahs, Domingo Fox and the music headliner, Fuzzy Jeffries and the Kings of Memphis.
