Yoda had first name at first
In early drafts of the screenplay, the character Yoda actually was named “Buffy,” which was completely changed in subsequent drafts to the full name “Minch Yoda,” and then shortened to just Yoda.
Original movie a big moneymaker
“Star Wars,” released in 1977 and the first film in the lengthy series, is the No. 2 highest-grossing movie of all-time according to figures adjusted for inflation. Which film is No. 1? “Gone With the Wind.’’
