College Church of the Nazarene to host free concert

College Church of the Nazarene University Avenue in Bourbonnais is hosting a free afternoon concert of violin and piano music at 3 p.m. Feb. 24.

The program will feature classical masterpieces, including music of Tartini, Brahms, Beach and Ravel. Admission is free, and all are invited. The performance is underwritten by a grant from the Gerald and Mary Anderson Performance Endowment.

This concert series began in 2016, under the leadership of Paul Kenyon and in association with Olivet Nazarene University and College Church of the Nazarene University Avenue.

Maternity BVM to host free wedding music fair

A free wedding music fair will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. March 17 at Maternity BVM Parish, 308 E. Marsile Ave. in Bourbonnais.

Vocalists and instrumentalists will perform wedding music selections to assist couples who are preparing a wedding. This is an event that anyone is welcome to attend.
