PNC Bank, N.A., as Trustee of the Tallman's Boys' Fund (the "Trust"), is required to distribute semi-annually the income of the Trust to those charitable organizations that serve, in whole or in part, the needs of the boys in Kankakee County, including the supervision, support, maintenance, medical or hospital care, education, general assistance or welfare of the boys of Kankakee County who are wards of the Court, or who are dependent, delinquent, homeless, or needful of supervision, care, education, or training to assist in their development into useful and respectful citizens. The boys who may be subject of aid from the Trust are limited to those under the age of 21 years and who are of Protestant religious faith or whose parent or parents were of Protestant religious faith. If your charitable organization serves one or more of these purposes and you would like to receive a charitable distribution from the Trust, please submit a Distribution Request Letter by March 20, 2020 with all of the following information: 1. Name, address and contact person of your organization; 2. Your organization's taxpayer ID number; 3. The focus of your organization: 4. Summary of how your organization will use the funds to further the purposes of Tallman's Boy's Fund and how many boys would be served by the distribution; 5. Whether your organization has requested a distribution from Tallman's Boy's Fund before; 6. Whether your organization has received a distribution from Tallman Boy's Fund before and if so, the year and amount of the distribution; and 7. Any additional comments. Please note that if your charitable organization is awarded a charitable distribution from the Trust, you will be notified by May 1, 2020 and will receive a distribution on or around May 30, 2020 and October 30, 2020. Any charitable organization that receives a donation from the Trust will be required to submit an evaluation by December 15, 2020 reflecting how the distribution was actually used. Failure to provide such evaluation by December 15, 2020 will impact any future requests.
