several new opportunities

beginning 2021-2022

school year.

This fun, diverse school provides a wide array of

career and technical

education, work-based learning, and intern opportunities. Faculty and staff are well known for their camaraderie and dedication to education.

Career Guidance Counselor

Assist students to identify and realize career goals, become more aware of the

post-secondary educational

pathway, and help them identify their strengths and weaknesses to make solid

decisions. This person

will actively pursue new

opportunities and solidify

current relationships in both the internship/job shadow

program and dual college credit. State of Illinois Type 73 Certification Required.

C.N.A. Clinical Lab


This person will assist KACC C.N.A. Instructors in our

on-site healthcare lab as well as at the clinical site. Theory and clinic lab curriculum,

outlined by instructors, is

implemented with students in small groups, limited to IDPH guidelines. Must have a valid State of Illinois R.N. License and be eligible for IDPH

Clinical Supervisor designation. The schedule is four days per week.

C.N.A. Clinical Site


KACC has two positions

available to work with C.N.A. students in the clinic setting to assist students to take what is learned in the classroom and lab to the real world of work. KACC provides transportation

to and from the school to the clinical site. Must have a valid State of Illinois R.N. License and be eligible for IDPH

Clinical Supervisor

designation. This position is two days per week from

mid-September through May.

Career Coach

Flexible, Part-time position to work with Career Guidance Counselor and current

Career Coach. Assist

students in developing a meaningful portfolio, develop interviewing skills, job search skills, and resume building. Qualifications include a

background in business and/or education, prefer Bachelor’s degree.

Somewhat flexible schedule, working 4 to 10 days per month.

Learning Center Tutor

This part-time person will work with students

on curriculum specific

reading and math as well as

any special needs/modifications requested in an IEP/504 plan. This person also provides short-term,

building-wide substitute

coverage for KACC faculty. ISBE PEL or eligible for

short-term Substitute

License required. Schedule runs three days per week.
