IHM hires management team

Iroquois Memorial Hospital, 200 E. Fairman Ave. in Watseka, announced recently the addition of the management team of Global Enterprise Management LLC to its health-care family. GEM will provide leadership, experience and guidance as it partners with the entire IMH team, including the board of directors, as the hospital expands its capabilities and services to meet the needs of the community.

GEM will provide top senior staffers’ oversight focusing on internal efficiencies and patient outcomes. GEM also will evaluate new services to enhance the offerings currently available at Iroquois Memorial.

GEM partners Don Williams and Quentin Whitwell will be serving as CEO and president, respectively, and will begin functioning in these capacities immediately.

“We are passionate about improving the viability of rural hospitals nationwide and especially excited about working alongside the board of directors and executive team to reinforce Iroquois Memorial as the premier health-care facility in the region,” Williams saud.

The move by the board of directors looks to strengthen the long-term viability of IMH.

“Our hospital is a huge part of the community, employing over 350 people,” said Roger Dittrich, board chairman. “It is this dedicated, professional and caring hospital staff that have allowed us to thrive over the years and have earned us a great reputation as the region’s premier health-care facility.”
