The cold and the snow are getting on most of our nerves as the days run on. It is one thing to stiff upper lip through the cold and snow, but when it affects your work or your children being able to go to school, it starts working on your good thoughts.
For me, what I find unnerving is driving down a city road that has people walking into traffic. My first thoughts are, "Get off the road, you idiot, you can get killed." But on further review, I find the reason they are out in the street is because no one has shoveled the sidewalks, so the only place they can walk without wading through snow is in the street. What makes the problem worse are the parked cars sticking into the street because no one shoveled a parking spot.
