No, not Kristy Lee.

If David Cook doesn’t win American Idol, then something is really flawed.

The guy took a syrupy Mariah Carey tune and turned into, dare I say, a masterpiece. It was the best performance I have ever seen/heard on American Idol. (Cook has most of the other ones as well.)

Actually, my hope is that he is voted off tonight so his CD will come out sooner. (Melissa G. also brings up a good point that if he wins, they may make him do a pop CD. I think whoever produces (is it still Clive Davis?) will be smarter than that.)

Anway, here are the rankings:

1) David C.

2) David A.

3) Carly

4) Jason

5) Syesha

6) Kristy Lee

7) Brooke

Who will go: Remember our boy-girl, boy-girl theme. Remember Michael Johns went last week. Remember Michael is a boy. Remember Carly has unjustly shown up in the bottom three lately. Remember there is some backlash because she’s already had a recording contract. Remember her sexy Irish accent, because unfortunately, it will be the last time we hear it on Idol. Carly is going home, unjustly so when she should be in the top three.

Carly has one of the best, crisp voice I have ever heard. I sure hope she don’t go home. If she does the wife and I will be very anti-AI.

I still can’t believe Kristy is still in this competition. I believe Brooke is breathe of fresh air. She is very talented. Jason just keeps surprising me with his talent. He has a very soft and soothing voice. I enjoy listening to him.

I think Syesha or Kristy Lee will go (hopefully Kristy Lee Cook).

I’m disappointed that Michael is gone and I’m also disappointed that Carly still can’t seem to pick the right song. She always looks so angry when she sings. I’m sick of Brooke looking like she’s going to cry and David A licking his lips drives me insane. Tiny Tim’s boy (Jacyl I know you love him) makes me nuts too. Don’t get me started on Kristy Lee or Syesha. David Cook is the man whether or not he wins.

John, whoever you are…BLESS YOU! I agree about Carly. If she goes home tonight I will have to drape my desk in black. Jason has a soothing voice yeas, but he needs to clip off those ratty dreds because they look like things live in them! Syesha or Kristie…GO HOME!

Kristy needs to LEAVE!!!! She is a female version of Sanjaya!!
David Cook rocked that stage last night!! And what an awesome night for him. His brother, Adam, who has brain cancer was flown in on a medical flight with his wife and a personal nurse for last night and tonight……
I personally don’t know if Brooke can make it without her piano.. it’s like she doesn’t know what to do with her hands. I really did not care for her at all in the beginning. Although her voice has grown on me, her tears irritate me!

My turn:

Bottom 3 tonite the girls have it—- Carly, Brooke, and Syesha .

I am a country fan and Kristy has been improving with each week she can sing country so I am hoping she won’t be on the bottom.

Carly is the one that drives me nuts! She has a voice but really don’t think I would ever buy a cd of hers. I have trouble seeing beyond the ugly tatoo she rarely covers with a sleeve. Yuck.

Brooke also is one of my least favorites-except for once on the piano. She is just too sweet and tries to play on innocense all the time. Just don’t like her.

Syesha, I really like. She goes for the challenge and chooses hard songs rather than just comfortable so I would like to see her stay. I love her smile

Going home tonight I hope it will be Carly. I really think at this stage we are looking at who has the largest fan base. Carly must be getting the biker vote.
Kristy must have the country vote socked in because she gets saved for from the bottom 3 each week. I also think she might be the” vote for the worst” vote that is promoted on that web site.. Brooke must have the older ladies and gents vote behind her.
Syesha probably gets the black and pop vote???

David A may be getting a lot of pre-teen and old grannies voting for him. LOL Personally I have a hard time watching him because of his smile—tBTW the way they dressed him this week to sort of fit in as a teen instead of a nerdy teen was totally wrong for him, too. He might be able to sing almost anything, but I see him more as a future lounge singer.

Jason—– a sweety with talent! Watch out Jack Johnson , Jason might just replace you as my drive time relaxing music. How many times has he learned to play an instrument to use it with the song he picks? How cool is that.

David C will be this years winner even if he loses out on being Idol #1! I will be in line to pick up his first CD, too!
So….that is the way I judge who should win. Who can get the most radio time when the show ends. I think it is David—–

Ha-ha Aunt Anita and Timmy! My girl came thru again! Shame on you both! A pox be upon you! ……tho, Aunt Anita….I have to agree about the ugly tatoo. Why would any woman do that to herself? Did you see her husband? Sweet Mother of God! He would send young children running into the house screaming….
