Taking over the blog today is Smokey, our cat.
Greetings to all you cool cats out there in blog land.
I want to talk to you about National Cat Day, which we are celebrating today (Oct. 29).
Not only do we honor us furry creatures for being so darn cute, but it also puts the emphasis on homeless cats.
I was one of those homeless dudes until August 2008, when the Bontys (I refer to them as the humans), took me in.
Recently I looked at some pictures Dawn (the woman human, who I really like) took when I first started hanging around the house. Meow ouch! I was a scrawny at 11 pounds and you could see my ribs.
Now, with good eating habits and some snacks from Jeff (the butt munch), I am a whopping 18 pounds and my fur silky smooth.
If you really like cats and want unconditional love and companionship, think about adopting a cat from a shelter. It might just be a purrfect match.
Got to go. I need to chew on Jeff’s arm while he naps in my recliner.
